Victorian Burr Walnut Pedestal Desk

An excellent quality Pedestal Office Desk, made in the mid Victorian period. Having 9 smoothly running drawers fitted with original handles, they have a nice moulding around the edges this was only done on the best desks, the drawers are also mahogany lined with lovely tiny dovetails. The desk is finished right round so can be free standing in a room. The Walnut used is a nice grade and as can be seen even the pedestal sides are walnut. The black leather is a new high quality replacement.
