Very Good Burr Walnut Victorian Card Table

This is a superb quality Victorian card table, made from solid walnut with excellent tight Burr Walnut veneers. The shaped top flips over and turns round to be supported on the base, the original red baize is in good used condition. It sits on 4 fluted legs joined by a stretcher and having lovely original porcelain casters. This table is not marked but has all the hallmarks and the quality go Gillows, if not by Gillow it certainly would have been one of the best makers of the period.
