Shaped Burr Walnut Dressing Table C.1920

A fine dressing table made from solid walnut with nice burr veneers. Not only is this piece excellent quality but also a lovely flowing serpentine shape, even the sides sweep in and out. Very unusually the back is also burr walnut as can be seen in the photo, a sign of the quality. The mirrors all move independently, the central one back and forth on a ratchet and the outer ones in and out. All the actual mirrors have been replaced so in perfect condition. The 3 drawers run smoothly and fitted with delightful original handles with a dancing deer on. She sits on elegant Queen Anne legs.
