Queen Anne Walnut Chest of Drawers C.1705

This is a superb early walnut chest of drawers, dating to the Queen Anne period, that is made from English Walnut on a solid English oak carcass, wonderful burr walnut thick veneers to the front with herringbone cross banding to the drawers. All 6 drawers run well and provide plenty of storage. This chest oozes age, charm and character, yes it has some nicks, dents, splits and blemishes due to its age but nothing serious and it adds to the charm of the piece. A wonderful warm Walnut colour and patina, I think it would look fabulous in the right setting.
