Pair of French Armchairs Newly Upholstered

A lovely pair of french Armchairs or Fauteuils made from Solid Walnut. Late Victorian in date and nice quality with excellent carved detailing. The frames are sturdy and solid and have been re french polished to a very high standard. The upholstery has been renewed in a French linen light grey, the internal padding has been renewed also. They are a pair but have one slight carved difference on the top of the arms (see last photo) maybe this was to signify ladies and gents. A highly decorative and comfortable pair of chairs for the home.
