This is a lovely French Louis XVI antique writing desk, that was made from mahogany with brass detailing and brass capped feet. The 3 drawers run smoothly and there are 2 pull out side slides. The original leather top remains sound and characterful with a few age related marks. It is finished on all 4 sides so can be free standing in a room.
