Finest Quality French Antique Commode Chest of Drawers

A simply superb French Commode Chest, having a thick original veined 3cm Marble top and serpentine in form. This piece dates to the early 19th Century and oozes quality in the construction, the inlays and the excellent ormolu mounts that adorn the piece. Made from a variety of woods Walnut, Kingwood, Olive wood and others. She has 2 doors to the front and 2 cupboards in the serpentine sides which is very unusual, keys present to all. All the mounts are original and we have cleaned them. We have re finished the whole commode to a very high standard so in excellent condition for the home.
