Fantastic Burr Walnut French Dressing Table c.1900

We are delighted to offer this Dressing Table, it is perhaps the best Burr Walnut dressing Table we have seen. French in origin and having superb style. It is kidney in shape and made from solid Walnut with fine Burr Walnut veneers to the tops. The 3 bevelled glass oval mirrors all move independently, the central mirror is crested with a crisp and deeply carved garland, carved out of 1 piece of walnut. The 7 drawers all run smoothly and fitted with original brass handles. The legs are elegant and slender united by a stretcher. The decoration continues around the sides and even the back is the same quality. The drawers are made from Solid Oak internally with excellent dovetails showing the high quality craftsmanship which has constructed this piece.
