Burr Walnut Serpentine Desk or Dressing Table c.1920

This is a very pretty writing desk or dressing table (would suit either) made from solid walnut with excellent tight burr walnut. The front is serpentine in form and has 5 smoothly running drawers fitted with original brass handles. The top has a gallery around and there is a plate glass top if desired which is cut to the exact shape. She sits on cabriole Queen Anne legs united by a stretcher. This piece is of excellent quality which can be seen by the fine dovetails in the drawer construction.
