Burr Walnut Bureau Desk c.1920

This is a fabulous quality bureau desk made from walnut with excellent burr walnut. This is a heavy piece of furniture and the quality and craftsmanship are second to none. The top flap opens (resting on 2 pull out lugs) to reveal a splendid interior with pigeon holes and little drawers. Underneath the 5 drawers run smoothly and fitted with original brass handles, they are cross banded with walnut as it the fall. She sits on bracket feet.
